Honey Myrtle Ointment

Honey myrtle has been traditionally used by first nations people of Australia for its antibacterial and antifungal properties.  The essential oil extracted from its leaves contains terpinen-4-ol, a compound also found in tea tree oil, which is known for its antiseptic properties.  Some sources suggest it may be useful for respiratory conditions, skin infections and wound healing.
